Undoing Racism Workshops in Boston – October 3-5

Haymarket People’s Fund, in collaboration with others, is hosting an UNDOING RACISMtm WORKSHOP for educators & community activist with trainers from The People’s Institute for Survival and Beyond – October 3rd, October 4th, and October 5th in Boston, MA.

Attached is the flyer and registration form with more information.   Because we are partnering with other organizations space is limited and registration is required.  We will take registrations on a first come basis and once the slots are full we will put people on a wait list.  The deadline to register is Friday, September 20th.

Haymarket also offers a limited number of partial scholarships to grantees who are interested in attending an Undoing Racism™ Workshop organized by the People’s Institute for Survival and Beyond.  Funding is limited and scholarship awards will be made taking into account Haymarket’s commitment to fund throughout New England.  Participants must attend the entire workshop.  Attached is the scholarship form.  Because of limited resources we are only able to provide partial scholarships to grantees and are not able to assist with travel and/or accommodations.

Undoing Racism™ Workshops last for two and one half days and include a historical and institutional analysis of racism, understanding the structure of oppression, defining and sharing culture, leadership development and principles of accountability and networking.  Trainers are experienced community organizers.
