The City budget for youth jobs has been frozen with $0 increase for 4 years.
Mayor Marty Walsh committed to increase it to $8.5 million.
In an April budget, he added $0. In a new budget last week, he told us $0 again.
9 City Councilors are writing letters supporting — now WE need to make a final push!

THANK YOU to everyone who has supported at our actions this year, including our flash mob and testimonies in May, and our Youth Unemployment Fair last week! Video links are below.
PLEASE SUPPORT US for the final three days before the City budget is finalized by coming to the final budget vote and calling the Mayor.
THANK YOU also to the majority of the City Council who have written letters in support of increasing youth jobs.
We are now watching to see if they continue to advocate to the Mayor and vote yes only on a budget that has a substantial increase toward $8.5 million.
