G’s to Gents 3 – Report Back

Thank you for your support of Voices of Liberation and the 3rd Annual G’s to Gents! We want to acknowledge everyone who made this incredible event possible. Together we brought together over 23 Resources including: 

  • Reentry Services by New Beginnings 
  • CORI Sealing and Record Expungement by Project Opportunity (CORI Sealing) 
  • Various Resources and Information from The City of Boston and Office of Black Male Advancement
  • Resume Coaching / Writing
  • Haircuts by KJAY Cuts / Everything is Real Barbershop
  • Over 150 Suits with support from Follow Suit who donated $1000 worth of new suits
  • Over 80 pairs of Professional Shoes donated by Alpha & Omega ($6,500 Value) 
  • An array of healing and therapeutic services sponsored by ABCD and Yard Time Inc.
  • Care packs and other resources provided by Cindy Diggs and the MGH Community Engagement Team
  • 20+ Professional Headshots taken by D. Irvin 
  • Resource and information tables from community organizations including: ABCD, MPDC, New Beginnings Reentry Services, MassHire, Youth Build Boston, House of Creativity, Joint Venture, My Brothers Keeper, House of Creativity, NCO Realty Group + More
